The SNEAPPA Board of Directors consists of the following elected positions: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Past-President and six Directors, one from each state and up to three At-Large members. Elections are held every other year at the summer meeting. Below are the current Board member positions with a brief description of the position responsibilities. If you are interested in getting more involved with SNEAPPA, please consider a position on the Board!


Term: Elected to hold office for a one-term period of two years

  • Presides over all meetings of the Chapter and of the Board of Directors
  • Supervises and directs the affairs of the Chapter, including agenda development for chapter-related business
  • Selects the members of Standing Committees within SNEAPPA and appoints the Chairperson(s)
  • Ensures the Board meets a minimum of two times annually, and as required; conducts monthly conference calls; coordinates annual board retreat, as needed
  • Solicits and contributes articles for the chapter’s website quarterly
  • Serves as a member of the ERAPPA Chapter Affairs Committee and ERAPPA Nominating Committee. Recommends appointments to ERAPPA committees

General Requirements for Position:
Conduct/participate in the following:
  • SNEAPPA business meetings held in spring, summer, and fall
  • Chapter Board Meetings two times per year (minimum)
  • Monthly SNEAPPA Board Conference Calls

Additional Requirements for Position:
Participate in the following:
  • ERAPPA Annual Conference (occurring in the fall of each year)
  • ERAPPA Mid-Year Meeting (March) at the location of the upcoming ERAPPA conference
  • ERAPPA Committee Conference Calls, as necessary
